Junctional Diversity (as opposed to Combinatorial Diversity).
1. Nucleotides are removed by an exonuclease 2. N-region nucleotides are added by Tdt (Terminal deoxyribonucleotidyl Transferase).
Result: Provides even greater diversity to Antibodies and T cell receptors.
