VOA News - Six Killed at Wisconsin House Party
Officials in U.S. state of Wisconsin say a sheriff's deputy shot six people to death before he was killed by a police sniper.
The six were shot early Sunday at a party in Crandon, Wisconsin, a town of 2,000 people some 360 kilometers north of Milwaukee.
Two of the victims were students at a local high-school. The others were recent graduates.
Police said the suspect, Forest County Sheriff's Deputy Tyler Peterson, was killed later in the day after a manhunt.
Officials have made no comment on the circumstances surrounding the shootings.
