Amber Alert issued for missing Riverside boy
(10-06) 22:51 PDT RIVERSIDE - Law enforcement authorities issued an Amber Alert today for a 12-year-old boy reported kidnapped in Riverside.
The boy, Eric Gibson, was kidnapped about 6 a.m. Friday, authorities said. Riverside police said the suspect was Nilda Ruth Wery, 40, who was last seen driving a red Jeep Wrangler, California license plate 4KXT611.
Eric is described as white, 5-foot-9 and 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a brown leather jacket, blue jeans, white T-shirt and white DC tennis shoes, authorities said.
Wery is described as Latino, 5-foot-5 and 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Her relationship to the boy and the circumstances of the alleged abduction were not immediately known.
